Important note: If some of this dialogue doesn’t seem like it’s familiar, it’s either because it’s the Japanese version of the script or I because I altered it to better fit my writing style. This has to be one of my favorite scenes ever in Champloo because of the staggering emotions…and the Fuugen-ness, of course. -P This first chapter is basically my take on the scene and I’ve obviously changed a few things, but hopefully it’s not TOO boring to withstand.
